Don't Tangle With This Guy!

Why?

Because he has a scary tattoo!

Plus, he has already spent time in the big house!

Climbing Acrobatic Turtle!

If you have an outside country dog, then you know, depending on the bark, whether or not a critter has wandered up.

One afternoon,  Snowpaw started barking-- it didn't sound like a 'SNAKE!' bark but it didn't stop so out we go to see which critter was calling.

It was this wacky turtle...

Just hanging out on the porch-- exploring around.  Then it started climbing the rocks of the house! Who knew turtles climbed?! Of course, it only got so high then toppled backwards.

We flipped Mr. Wacky Turtle right side up pointing away from the house and stepped way back.

Did Mr. Wacky Turtle go about his turtle business?

No, Mr. Wacky Turtle put on a show!

Apparently, Mr. Wacky Turtle is a circus turtle-- he climbed and flipped backwards seven times!

Here is a video of one of Mr. Wacky Turtle's encore performances...

A Post-Op Howdy!

Howdy, friends and family!

Been out of commish recently due to eye surgery and my vision is still nutty so using the computer gives me a crazy head and queasy tum.  I posted all about my creepy eye (with photos) here on my bookblog.  Click if you dare! Mwahahahah

Kidding! Don't be scared! The Tale of the Creepy Eye is a lighthearted silly account of glaucoma surgery and recovery. Really.

With compensations, I'm beginning to use the computer again and have so many cool, spectacular, fun and absurd photos and adventures to share with you.

Stay tuned!

Father's Day

Talon loves choosing gifts for people. Can you guess the gift he always insists on giving no matter what the occasion?

There is a hint in the mosaic.

Kiddie Canoe Ride

This little canoe ride is at the Frontier City Theme Park in Oklahoma City. The canoe isn't on a track. The kids have to really paddle to make it move. Isn't it cute?

Talon rode it several times when he was age three. This time at the ripe old age of six, he only rode it once. He isn't buying the 'working is part of the fun' angle anymore.
