Can you spot the spelling error on this sign?
Such a disappointment when I realised there were no exotic flavors on offer.
What would desert flavors be anyway?
Camels and Cream
Mocha Mirage
Prickly Pear Pound Cake
Oreo Oasis
Sandy Cheesecake
Bedouin Banana
Cactus Caramel
Dune Delight
Sahara Swirl
Hmm... the mind boggles...

Haha! That's funny! You should check out cakewrecks.com for stuff like that (professional cake decorators and their mistakes).
ReplyDeleteThat reminds of this town in Mexico known for its ice creams - more like sherberts or sorbets, really. And the have lots of unusual flavors - mole (the sauce, not the animal), avocado, and TEQUILA! That one is a fave of mine - I get part lime and part tequila and so have a frozen margarita! Mmmm!
Actually your flavors sound gooood! I could try a Mocha Mirage and some Oreo Oasis...
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun blog you have! I am now following you via Katherine's Corner blog hop party. I hope you will follow back!
ReplyDeleteYour blog looks like a fun place to be! LOL I'm stopping by from the Blog Hop on Katherine's Corner to say hi!....Hi! :-)
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun sign, makes you look twice or three times which is possibly what they wanted.
ReplyDeleteBlog hopping from Katherine's Corner
Leslie: Sounds like a funny site-- I'll check it out.
ReplyDeleteHa- thanks for clarifying about the mole-- I was wondering! the mexican icecream shop we found has some unusual flavors too but not as exotic as what you listed though-- corn is about the most unusual they offer. I'd like to try all the ones you mentioned even the mole. I mix coconut and pineapple for pina colada.
Shenita: Thanks! I did follow back-- your blog looks fun too!
ReplyDeletePoetessWug: Hi! Thanks for stopping by-- your profile is private so I can't find your blog to return the visit.
Chris: I sure had to look more than once!
Lesa, I would have to agree with Leslie, your flavors do sound good! Also, like you mentioned Poetess Wug left a comment on my blog as well, but with a private profile, no one can get to her blog to return the favor. Wonder if our lovely Katherine knows who they are and can point us in the right direction! Great blog post, lovely site...visiting from Kat's Corner! Happy Thursday!~Leah
ReplyDeleteHmmm....I'm in Arizona - I'll take two scoops of cactus & creme, please! Hugs, GraceinAZ

ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing this with us at Rub Some Dirt On It!
Lesa, here in Australia almost all of the 'flavours' would be misspelled! Sounds yummy, though, any way you spell them!
ReplyDeleteThanks all for the fun comments! So glad you enjoyed this silly sign. I'll be posting more...
