MUSINGS, DOINGS AND DABBLINGS OF A CITY GIRL FROM TEXAS LIVING A DUSTY LIFE IN THE WILDS OF OKLAHOMA...
nature, food, travel, garden, photography, family, a bit of style and a heaping helping of silliness... just for the hilarity of it all...
Here are a few of Talon's favorite exhibits at the museum:
Talon was fascinated by this powwow automaton. While it revolves, the tiny drummers chant and pound the communal drum. The tiny dancers proudly stomp and dance in all their regalia. The spectators spectate, of course, but they moved some too. Just like a real powwow--- Quite amazing!
Talon liked the Woolaroc plane suspended from the ceiling. It won a race in 1927 from Oakland to Honolulu taking just over 26 hours of flight time. Torrey, aren't you glad it doesn't take that long nowadays!
and a real truck!
Talon loves to try out furniture but this one was not too comfy.
