Talon loves to try out furniture. At the Restoration Hardware store, he sought out the perfect chair.
Talon said: This chair is too lumpy!
Talon said: Too big!
So big that even dad's legs can't bend!
Talon said: This chair is just right!
Do you shop at Restoration Hardware? The prices are extravagent... $600 reading lamp, anyone? So we just browsed. Actually, the store is more high end than it used to be. The last store we visited was in Dallas close to 10 years ago and it was bright cheerful and full of aisles and customers. This store was dark and somber with a few spartan furniture vignettes and no customers.

Hey, your hair looks cute! Is it different than it was in June? Or maybe that's just its natural state when you're not suffering the heat at Silver Dollar City. ;)
ReplyDeleteThanks! I recently had my annual haircut! Sounds pitiful but it usually is a once a year event just in time for the start of school.
ReplyDeleteHaha! Annual haircut? Is this during your annual trip to town for cornmeal, gunpowder, ham hocks and guitar strings? ;) Anyway, it looks great!
ReplyDeleteLooks like your family was having tons of fun in the store!
ReplyDeleteR.H. IS crazy expensive, but I have to admit my favorite colors in the world are the in their Shore and Silver Sage paint collection. I should buy a gallon and decide what to do with it later. The problem would be choosing just one.
ReplyDeleteDo they give out free paint chips? That would be much cheaper . . . wonder what they would say if you went to their paint chip display and said, "I'll take one of each!" ;)
ReplyDeleteI never ask, Kathy. As they say, it's easier to get forgiveness than permission!
ReplyDeletehahahaah, Kathy--- I'm not averse to buying in bulk but we go to town 2-3 times a week-- gotta keep Walmart in business!!
ReplyDeleteTracy: I did see the paint sections-- all the cans looking so classy and understated. But guess where we buy paint.. yep, Walmart!!
Wonder if the RH clerks could tell we were Walmart people...
