Cheap Sunglasses!

Where do you buy your eyeglasses? Are you brave enough to buy them online? What about online from a foreign country?

For a few years now, I have been ordering my prescription eyeglasses from MyOpticalShop.com. Their frames range in price from $19 to $49 and the lenses are very reasonable too. They offer the same fancy lenses and coatings offered anywhere. The only difference is a decent price. Really, who wants to pay $300 for glasses?!

I've been so pleased with my rimless and hingeless glasses from MyOpticalShop that I decided to order prescription sunglasses too.

Purple semi-rimless! Love them!

All you need is your prescription, pupillary distance and a bit of bravery... Are you game?

Bike Rack!

A teacher at school said: You've got to see the bike rack!
Another teacher took off to see and while I couldn't imagine why the bike rack would be so interesting, of course, I said: Wait! Let me get my camera!

How cute and funny is that?!

This colorful ride belongs to a Kindergartener.

Garlic Chives

Garlic chive buds. I love that garlic chives bloom in the fall.
Do you cook with garlic chives? I'll confess that I rarely do but I use onion chives like they are going out of style! I'd like to use garlic chives more-- any suggestions?

From the Ridiculous to the Sublime

What in the world!!

Does your spouse do inexplicable things? As you can see, mine does. Actually, after living with towering empty diet coke can sculptures for 25 years, I do have an explanation. Hubby is artistically lazy! You see it is effortless and much more entertaining to build a sculpture next to your recliner than to walk to the trash can.

This isn't hubby's usual artistry and spotting this odd collection of wrappers next to the computer didn't particularly faze me but I did wonder why the compulsion to remove wrappers from bottles. ??? The mind boggles but water is healthier than coke so guess I should just appreciate hubby's strides toward adopting a healthier lifestyle. And maybe I should put a trash can next the computer table...

Enough ridiculous... Let's segue on to the sublime...

Saw this walking out of Walmart recently. Could it be a sign of heavenly approval for Sam's Choice water? Lord knows we buy enough of it! ;o)

Curly-locks And The Three Chairs

Talon loves to try out furniture. At the Restoration Hardware store, he sought out the perfect chair.
Talon said: This chair is too lumpy!

Talon said: Too big!

So big that even dad's legs can't bend!

Talon said: This chair is just right!

Do you shop at Restoration Hardware? The prices are extravagent... $600 reading lamp, anyone? So we just browsed. Actually, the store is more high end than it used to be. The last store we visited was in Dallas close to 10 years ago and it was bright cheerful and full of aisles and customers. This store was dark and somber with a few spartan furniture vignettes and no customers.
