Are you ready?MUSINGS, DOINGS AND DABBLINGS OF A CITY GIRL FROM TEXAS LIVING A DUSTY LIFE IN THE WILDS OF OKLAHOMA... nature, food, travel, garden, photography, family, a bit of style and a heaping helping of silliness... just for the hilarity of it all...

Shrimp in garlic sauce. Well prepared but rather bland... certainly not worth giving up Kung Pao Shrimp for and doubt we will order it again.
Our perenniel favorite: Shrimp with Candied Walnuts and Honeydew! Not spicy but such interesting flavors. The burst of sweetness from the melon is spectacular!
My all time favorite side: Spicy Stirfried Eggplant! Actually, it is an entree but I always order it as a side... so melt in your mouth delicious!
Talon's kiddie Shrimp with Lo Mein. Always a large serving so mom and dad share too!
Tiramisu in a shotglass! These little $2 dollar desserts are scrumptious and the perfect size to complete a fabulous but filling meal. There are about 8 flavors to choose from so everyone is happy. We prefer these shotglass desserts to the spectacular Great Wall of Chocolate that featured in an earlier post. Typically, we overdo the ordering at PF Chang's but this time we did without the lettuce wraps and wonton soup. And didn't splurge on a second side or third shrimp entree... just to experiment. Our pocketbook and tummies were very grateful. ;o)
Do you enjoy dining at PF Chang's? What dishes do you recommend? Any that you would never order again?
Talon lost his first tooth! At the first discovery of looseness, he said: I'm not ready for this! By the time the tooth was pulled (by me) two weeks later, he was excited by this new turn of events.
Tickling dad's hair with a straw.

Do you love quirky petals too? Looks like she is trying to hide a little something...
Busy as a bee!
Sunshine and blue skies... What could be better!
This was taken Memorial Day weekend at Porum Landing (Corp of Engineers Park) on Lake Eufaula in Oklahoma.
My family loves cars and attends lots of carshows so I had to get a shot of this cute little mint hauling car. If you are a hotrod or classic car freak, click on the cars label in the sidebar and prepare to swoon.
Looks like this little toothpick dispenser has had a hard life! What a pile of guest checks! Hope the owner doesn't use her hard earned profits to buy a new dispenser-- I like this one, don't you.
When the cashier gave me a funny look inquiring glance, I said: Oh, I take pictures of red things. As if that explained my oddness... well, I reckon it explained that one bit of oddness.
