Ms. Diva Mini Horse: Cute But Contrary

Have you ever attempted a photo shoot with a miniature horse?

Cute as can be but so contrary--- all I wanted was a simple macro eye shot with a reflection.

Is that asking too much, Ms. Diva Horse?

After much trial and tribulation-- and many shots of nostrils and ears...

Success!  Yippee! See the fence and horizon and if you look closely you can see my camera.

Too bad my head is hidden behind Ms. Diva's lashes.

I could have tried for more shots but didn't want to push my luck.

You know how divas are...

  1. my experience has been, the smaller the horse or dog, the more 'diva-ish' they can be... :) they're cute and they know it!

  3. In terms of the challenge factor that has to be right up there with getting a four year old who doesn't like the camera to smile for you :-)

What a beautiful horse and your photo of that eye is just perfect. So clear and a great capture.

  8. Oh yes. My sister had two rescue minis for a couple of years and they found a great forever home and now pull a cart! They were cute stinkers and I will be posting photos of them soon on my "Just Horses" blog. I also am leasing a pony now and, yes, the smaller the more "Diva" I think! Great photos.

  17. Thanks so much everyone for visiting and commenting! Sorry I've taken so long to respond--I'm recovering from eye surgery and crazy vision has made computing difficult.
