Pink Purslane

I'm really liking this pretty in pink purslane...

And so does this little ant.

I'm growing this as an ornamentel border plant but just read that purslane is used as a culinary plant in many parts of the world.

I'm going to go taste it...

Do you eat purslane? Is any particular cultivar best for eating?

  4. Oh this is one of my favorite flower since I was a child.
This pink one is gorgeous and your photos are very beautiful.

Take care, this is the Moss-rose Purslane, not the edible species (Portulaca oleracea).
