Talon loves Transformers so this year he chose a Transformer BumbleBee costume. Halloween at his school is such fun! The little kids (PreK-3rd)sing at the bank and nursing home. The bank gives each child a Halloween bag full of goodies then the kids trick or treat at other businesses in town to add to the bounty!

Sweet Note...
Found this sweet note in one of Talon's books. I wouldn't have been able to give it away. Maybe this mom wrote in all her son's books so had to discard some of them.

Planting Baby Pines!
Every year, the forest rangers give away free pines at the Fall Festival. These trees are about the only ones that thrive on our property. Their heights are staggered but some are 30 ft tall now.
Talon made silly faces all day...
One of the tall ones! Lost its tippy top in the ice but still growing! I just love pines--- reminds me of the East Texas Piney Woods--- and adds some color during the dreary grey Oklahoma winters.
Talon spotted this earthworm next to one newly planted tree.

Pumpkin Gingerbread Cookies!
What fun! After the carshow and planting our baby pines, Talon and I baked pumpkin shaped gingerbread cookies with lemon flavored glaze and green sugar stems. Perfect ending to a chilly fall day. Made the house smell wonderful! Of course, the best part was eating them! Wish you'd been here! We would've shared!

Flames!
Talon can't get enough of cars with custom paint jobs especially flames! At the car show, he wanted a picture taken of every one! Here are a few (not all or this post would never end!) he liked...
