You may remember my asking for ideas to jazz up the multitude of cakemixes I purchased on sale. DeLynne suggested cupcakes dipped in melted chocolate rather than frosting. What a great idea! The Funfetti cake mix was perfect for this project and Talon had so much fun helping!
For the topping, I melted a 4 oz Ghirardelli bittersweet baking bar with 2 1/2 tablespoons butter and 1 tablespoon of white corn syrup.
