Thank you, dear friends, for helping out with my little shopping dilemma. The majority ruled and I purchased...
To round out my order, I went completely off track from from the cute yellow items everyone voted on-- Sorry! I loved each one but all would have been redundant in my kitchen. Plus, none were giving me free shipping for some reason. The order has to be wrangled just so to get free shipping--- you know I'm all about FREE!
So what did I do?
I went with my other happy kitchen color: Aqua!! Or is it turquoise? I never know but it is the color shown on my vintage pyrex (or as close as my camera will allow)...
My aqua buys...
Love this Le Creuset pitcher! It arrived in perfect condition! Can't wait till summer to make lemonade! |
This barbeque set looks girly but it is sturdy and deadly. I'm very pleased by the quality-- and the handles add happy to my kitchen! |
My mom had/has? bowls with those aqua figures on them....I agree that we can collect things but so good to use them. The show about hoarders is crazy!
ReplyDeleteSending you some snow from Alberta :)

Your yellow bowls look like something easy to use. No matter the size, I'm sure you will find a good cabinet. I really think the blue and white pieces are cute, glad your using them. Happy Blue Monday.

Dawna: Don't you dare send snow-- we are expecting a major winter storm Tuesday with near blizzard conditions-- In Oklahoma of all places!!!
ReplyDeletethanks for the visit! How cool that your mom has the same bowls!
Aqua or turquoise... I think they're almost the same--perhaps aqua is a bit softer. However, both colors are beautiful.
ReplyDeleteHappy Blue Monday, Lesa.
Love the turquoise colour, my favourite.
ReplyDeleteI love all of them! I would be happy too if I get these things and have them in my kitchen. LOL! I love the vintage ones and I am on the lookout for these types of bowls.

What lovely purchases -- I love the "happiness" of the yellow bowls and the vintage look of the other containers. My grandmother always told me that there is no point to having something unless you use it and enjoy it. She had a lovely Wedgewood china set that she used regularly and that she passed down to me -- I use it now and every time I do I think about her and thank that she would be pleased :-)
ReplyDeleteYou did very well on you shopping spree. I like all your purchases, but the blue is my favorite.
ReplyDeleteReally love the blues.
ReplyDeleteOooo, pretty, pretty colors! Loving those square Pyrex bowls!
